How do I return my rental device to Aberdeen?

Once we receive notification from your doctor, we will automatically generate and mail to you a prepaid shipping label to return your device free of charge. If the end of your prescribed usage has passed and you have not received a return label, please call our toll-free number (888) 312-7347, option 0 to request a label.

How do I use my DVTCare portable pneumatic compression device?

You can find complete information on how to use this device on the manufacturer's website here. A video is included to show you how to set up and use the device, as well as support documents including a user guide.


3.

I have a device that is not working correctly, what should I do?

If you have received a rental device or supply that is no longer working, please call our toll-free number (888) 312-7347, option 0. We honor all warranties applicable under the law.

I have a questions about a bill that I received, who can I contact?

If you received a bill from Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. or if you received an Explanation of Benefits statement from your insurance company and would like additional information, please call our billing department at (888) 312-7347 option 1. For bill payments, we accept personal checks, Visa and Mastercard.

I received a check from my insurance company for your services, what should I do?

Occasionally, checks for our services are sent directly to the policy holder. If this happens, there are several options for forwarding this payment to us. You can deposit the check and call our billing department at (888) 312-7347, option 1 to put the check amount on your Visa or Mastercard. If you do not wish to deposit the check, you can endorse the back of the original insurance check, payable to Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. and mail it to our office address listed on the Contact Us page. You can also deposit the check and write a new personal check and send it to our office address listed on the Contact Us page.


Patient Rights and Responsibilities

Rights:

The patient has the right to considerate and respectful service.

The patient has the right to obtain service without regard to race, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, diagnosis or religious affiliation.

Subject to applicable law, the patient has the right to confidentiality of all information pertaining to his/her medical equipment service. Individuals or organizations not involved in the patient's care may not have access to the information without the patient's written consent.

The patient has the right to make informed decisions about his/her care.

The patient has the right to reasonable continuity of care and service.

The patient has the right to voice grievances without fear of termination of service or other reprisal in the service process.

Responsibilities:

The patient should promptly notify Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. of any equipment failure or damage.

The patient is responsible for any equipment that is lost or stolen while in their possession and should promptly notify Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. in such instances. 

The patient should notify Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. of any changes to their address or phone number. 

The patient should notify Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. of any changes concerning their physician.

The patient should notify Aberdeen Medical Services, Inc. of discontinuance of use if done before expiration of the prescribed period of usage.

Except where contrary to federal or state law, the patient is responsible for any equipment rental and sale charges which the patient's insurance company/companies does not pay.
